Municipal Hall of Lianga
Welcome to Lianga

About Our Municipality

Established on October 17, 1919, the Municipality of Lianga is one of the oldest towns in Surigao del Sur — fondly known as the “mother municipality” from which several neighboring towns were later formed.

Nestled along Lianga Bay between the Pacific Ocean and the Diwata Mountains, our coastal town thrives on a rich agricultural and fishing economy while proudly preserving its heritage through traditions like the Inatu Festival.
